How to maintain writing productivity for years to come

How to keep inspiration for creative work

Create your own creative writing system

Every book is unique. Where, how and on what occasion a new idea will hit you, you never know. What elements will form the mosaic of an idea, too, is not known in advance.

But there is always something that repeats from book to book. It could PayForEssay be a sequence of steps that lead from the first "What if?" to a full book plan or plot. Or some rituals to help ignite the first spark of interest in the story. Or techniques for developing and adjusting an idea to certain requirements (of a publishing house, for example). Or a blueprint for developing major and minor characters. And even cheat sheets to help you remember the important aspects - both for the whole book and for each specific scene.

It's good if you know exactly what makes it easier for you to work on a book. Better yet, if you base such a system on an understanding of your strengths and weaknesses as a writer.

For example, I always have a hard time developing characters. So before I take up the draft, I always write the stories of the characters involved in the story: for the main - long, up to 3-4 pages, for the occasional - from half a page to half and half. Interestingly, the plot itself and the whole plot can change at this point.

Read masters.

Here it is important to clarify: the reading should not be ordinary, but "analytical." In other words, professional writing.

Read authors who write in the genre in which you also want to work.

And when reading, do my paper look carefully at what techniques they use: how the characters are presented, what plot twists are typical and which are unexpected for this genre, how and where descriptions appear (of the appearance of the characters, nature, surroundings, etc.), how the composition of the book is built, how the text structure is handled, etc.

Pay particular attention to the ways in which the masters of the genre manage to create the right mood and atmosphere; how they emphasize important details and set the accents necessary both for understanding the storyline and for creating subtext.
